Growing up in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands Derek has an understandable passion for the sea, sailing and the growth of the global Yacht Industry.
After studying Agricultural Economics in New Zealand Derek has been involved in the Yachting industry as a Captain / Engineer / Project Manager.
Derek has overseen the construction of numerous new vessels and refit of existing yachts.
His knowledge of the construction process from conception to completion, engineering, classification, code and flag requirements is utilised in the management of all our vessels.
